The Civil Society Unit in the UN Department of Global Communications will host a two-part Civil Society Townhall on 12 February 2025.
Session 1: Discussion with the President of the 79th Session of the UN General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Philemon Yang, on his priorities and civil society engagement.
Session 2: Segment on the role of civil society engagement in the implementation of the Summit of the Future’s Pact for the Future and other Summit outcomes. Also, it is a moment to showcase civil society’s contributions towards inclusive multilateralism.
